Booking and payment terms & conditions

  1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 “Alpine Snowsports Southampton”, “BH Live”, “we”, “our” or “us” refers to the operator of Alpine Snowsports Southampton.

1.2 “Participant” means any individual taking part in an activity, lesson, course, recreational session, event, membership programme or booking.

1.3 “Booker” means the person making the booking.

  1. BOOKINGS

2.1 We recommend advance booking for all activities.

2.2 All bookings are subject to availability.

2.3 We reserve the right to refuse, amend or cancel bookings where operational, safety or other reasonable circumstances require.

2.4 The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all booking information is accurate at the time of purchase.

  1. PAYMENTS

3.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by Alpine Snowsports Southampton.

3.2 Membership payments are collected in accordance with the membership terms outlined below.

3.3 Unless otherwise stated, bookings are non-refundable but may be transferred in accordance with the terms applicable to the product purchased.

  1. PAY AS YOU GO ACTIVITIES

4.1 Pay as You Go activities are non-refundable.

4.2 Bookings may be transferred to an alternative date or time up to 1 hour before the activity start time.

4.3 Additional participants or products may be added up to 15 minutes before the activity start time, subject to availability.

4.4 Transfers requested within 1 hour of the activity start time are not permitted.

  1. LESSONS

5.1 Lesson bookings are non-refundable.

5.2 Bookings may be transferred to an alternative date or time up to 3 days before the activity start time.

5.3 Additional participants or products may be added up to 90 minutes before the activity start time, subject to availability.

5.4 Transfers requested within 3 days of the activity start time are not permitted.

  1. COURSES (Lesson blocks on fixed days/times)

6.1 Course bookings are non-refundable.

6.2 Bookings may be transferred to an alternative course up to 7 days before the course start date.

6.3 Transfer requests received within 7 days of the course start date are not permitted.

6.4 Once a course has started, transfers are not permitted.

6.5 Individual course dates cannot be cancelled, transferred or refunded.

6.6 No refunds, credits or transfers will be provided for non-attendance at any individual course session.

  1. PARTIES

7.1 Party bookings are non-refundable.

7.2 Party bookings may be transferred to an alternative date if requested more than 30 days before the activity date.

7.3 Additional participants may be added up to 3 days before the activity date, subject to availability.

7.4 Participants cannot be removed from party bookings once booked.

7.5 Transfer requests received within 30 days of the activity date are not permitted.

  1. MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS

8.1 A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase.

8.2 If a membership is cancelled during the cooling-off period, any activity usage will be deducted from the refund at the prevailing standard activity rates.

8.3 Monthly memberships have a minimum initial term of one month.

8.4 Membership fees are collected monthly by recurring card payment.

8.5 Payments will normally be collected on the same calendar day each month based on the original purchase date.

8.6 By purchasing a membership, the member authorises Alpine Snowsports Southampton to collect recurring monthly membership payments using the payment method provided at the time of purchase.

8.7 Members are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain valid and up to date.

8.8 Memberships may be cancelled at any time before the next payment date.

8.9 Membership benefits will continue until the end of the current paid membership period, and no further payments will be collected.

  1. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS

9.1 A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase.

9.2 If a membership is cancelled during the cooling-off period, any activity usage will be deducted from the refund at the prevailing standard activity rates.

9.3 Annual memberships are non-refundable after the cooling-off period has expired.

9.4 Membership fees are collected annually by recurring card payment and will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

9.5 By purchasing a membership, the member authorises Alpine Snowsports Southampton to collect recurring annual membership payments using the payment method provided at the time of purchase.

9.6 Members are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain valid and up to date.

  1. REFUNDS/TRANSFERS

10.1 No refunds or transfers will be provided for:

  • Failure to attend a booked activity.
  • Late arrival resulting in non-participation.
  • Booking an activity that is not suitable for the participant’s ability level.
  • Failure to comply with published participation requirements.
  • Removal from an activity due to behaviour or safety concerns.
  1. WEATHER AND OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS

11.1 Activities operate in most weather conditions, including rain.

11.2 We reserve the right to amend, delay or cancel activities due to:

  • Severe weather.
  • High winds.
  • Lightning.
  • Equipment failure.
  • Safety concerns.
  • Operational requirements.
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  1. VENUE CANCELLATIONS

12.1 Where Alpine Snowsports Southampton cancels an activity, customers will be offered one of the following:

  • Transfer to an alternative date or time.
  • Account credit.
  • Refund.
  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

13.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

13.2 The latest version will always be published on our website and will apply to future bookings from the date of publication.

  1. LIABILITY

14.1 Participation in activities at Alpine Snowsports Southampton is subject to the separate Activity Waiver and Rules & Regulations.

14.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

  1. PRIVACY

15.1 Personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and BH Live’s Privacy Policy.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

16.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
